Funding of the Georgia Advocacy Office


The activities of the Georgia Advocacy Office are funded by a combination of donations and grants. Donations are received from both Individuals and Corporations. The Georgia Advocacy Office is a 501 (c) (3) organization. All donations are tax deductible. Grants are received from the United States Department of Health and Human Services, Administration on Developmental Disabilities (PADD); Georgia Department of Community Affairs (Citizen Advocacy); United States Department of Health and Human Services, Center for Mental Health Services, Substance Abuse, and Mental Health Services Administration (PAIMI); United States Department of Education, Rehabilitation Services (PAIR); United States Department of Education, National Institute on Disability and Rehabilitation Research (PAAT); and the United States Social Security Administration (PABSS).
